Services

Moale James-Proud creates curated gatherings, facilitated conversations and story-led experiences that bring people together with care.

Our services move across events, facilitation, community arts and cultural development, public programming and bespoke creative collaborations. Each offering is shaped with intention, deep listening and cultural responsibility.

We work with individuals, artists, organisations, institutions and communities to design spaces where stories can be shared, relationships can deepen and new ideas can take form.

Whether you are planning a private gathering, a public program, a community consultation or a creative project, Haus of Moale can help shape the experience from idea to delivery.

Curated Together

Events, gatherings and public programs shaped by story, care and creative direction.

For weddings, private events, community dinners, launches, retreats, public programs and special gatherings.

We help shape the feeling, flow and meaning of your event so it feels personal, intentional and beautifully held.

Includes:
Creative direction, event concept, guest journey, run sheet design, storytelling moments, atmosphere, artist or supplier suggestions, hosting and on-the-day creative support.

This offering is scalable starting from design all the way through to delivery.

Bespoke Collaborations

Creative partnerships across storytelling, producing and cultural strategy.

Some projects need a different kind of container. Haus of Moale works with artists, organisations and communities to shape bespoke collaborations across creative producing, public programming, narrative development, cultural strategy and practice-led research.

Best for:

Artists, festivals, museums, universities, cultural institutions, social impact organisations and creative teams.

Facilitation

Relationship-led facilitation for groups, communities and organisations.

We facilitate spaces for dialogue, storytelling, reflection, consultation, peer learning and collective decision-making.

Our facilitation is grounded in care, cultural safety, deep listening and the ability to hold complexity with warmth and structure.

Best for:

Community consultations, stakeholder workshops, women’s leadership gatherings, cultural conversations, strategy days, creative developments and reflection sessions.

Community Arts & Cultural Development

Creative projects made with and for communities.

We design and support community-centred arts projects that prioritise meaningful participation, cultural safety, shared learning and long-term connection.

This work may include community engagement planning, creative workshops, story-gathering, artist and community liaison, public outcomes, reflective reporting and relationship impact planning.

The Nature Conservancy

“The Nature Conservancy has had the privilege of working alongside Moale through our Nature’s Leading Women initiative. In our engagement with Moale, we have observed firsthand her ability to convene, facilitate, and create culturally safe spaces where women’s leadership and lived experience are centred and amplified.

Moale brings a rare combination of artistic vision, cultural intelligence, and relational leadership. Her work demonstrates rigour, care, and a deep commitment to long-term impact. Moale understands how gathering, storytelling, and cultural practice can shape the conditions for community resilience.”

Every project begins with a conversation

Fees are shaped by the depth of preparation, delivery, care, materials, travel and relationships required.

Our fees reflect the full ecology of the work: research, design, preparation, cultural care, facilitation, creative direction, administration, reflection and the responsibility of holding people’s stories well.

As a Motuan-Australian woman with mixed-heritage to descendants from Western/colonial nations, I acknowledge that I live, work, create and play on land where sovereignty has never been ceded by this Country's First People.

I wish to acknowledge their elders and ancestors whose stories and histories are embedded in this land.

These lands have always been places of creating, learning, story telling and sharing. I bring with me my own stories and collaborate with other Artists to share stories, learn and create and we do these things in good spirit.
